This is my first article. There is a lot of info to know about writing one. Jessy J is and up and coming artist. It's a possibility that she will be nominated for a grammy this year. I am searching for the charts she has reached the top of. I'm actually curious as to why she doesn't already have a page on here. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Newboy27one (talkcontribs) 00:45, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A few things come to mind; there's already a welcome message on your user talk page with basic information. More than that, though, you notice that box that was on the article saying it would be speedily deleted? Don't remove that—instead, you can put {{hangon}} below it, and explain your reasons for keeping it on this page.
Wikipedia gets lots of articles about very minor musicians, and so naturally, there are notability criteria (WP:N and WP:ENTERTAINER) that must be met for the article to be kept. TheFeds 01:12, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
