Lenny Massey moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Lenny Massey, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 22:37, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Osama Tahir.jpeg
Thank you for uploading File:Osama Tahir.jpeg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Vladlen Manilov ✉ / 07:00, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use File:Alycia Dias.jpeg
Thanks for uploading File:Alycia Dias.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:50, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Osama Tahir.jpeg
Thanks for uploading File:Osama Tahir.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:52, 17 January 2023 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Babylicious Poster.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Babylicious Poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:20, 2 June 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Navin Waqar.jpeg
A tag has been placed on File:Navin Waqar.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://en.dailypakistan.com.pk/07-Dec-2022/navin-waqar-s-new-bold-pictures-set-internet-on-fire. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Ирука13 12:28, 24 August 2023 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Sunny Ali
Hello Aanuarif, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Sunny Ali, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sunny Ali.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|CNMall41}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Hello Aanuarif. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Sunny Ali, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Aanuarif. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Aanuarif|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. —Saqib (talk | contribs) 17:33, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Saqib,
- I don't work for anyone or am directly affiliated with anyone within the scope of my edits. Same applies to Sunny Ali. My edits/articles are mostly of my countrymen that I try to put on the global map. Aanuarif (talk) 22:21, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
- Based on your removal of the notability tag and moving other pages to the mainspace despite being declined in AfC (which were also worked on by other SPA accounts), it is very likely you have a conflict of interest. Please read WP:COI and WP:PAID and make the appropriate disclosure if applicable. Unfortunately, your conduct would need to be brought up at WP:COIN should it continue. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:49, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Sunny Ali, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. As you did here. CNMall41 (talk) 18:38, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

Waqar Zaka
As previously mentioned, please refrain from including promotional content in BLPs and avoid using unreliable references as citations. It's important to exercise extreme caution when making edits to BLPs, especially since they fall under the WP:CT/IPA. Before restoring the promotional material, please consider that any edit warring could result in a block. I kindly request that you provide an explanation here for the inclusion of unreliable references. —Saqib (talk | contribs) 19:28, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- I'm also pinging @Ganesha811: who cleaned up this BLP early this year. --—Saqib (talk | contribs) 19:31, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Saqib!
- All the citations are of independent and reliable sources, including Business Recorder (A national Newspaper of Pakistan that also operates internationally), Samaa News (National TV channel & news website), Tribune, Dawn News, and more. There is nothing promotional material, everything is cited from independent sources. Aanuarif (talk) 19:32, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- Your claims are not accurate. While the sources you mentioned are indeed RS, they don't verify the claims you're trying to add. It appears you're using these sources as citations to support WP:OR, which is considered disruptive editing. Additionally, you've used various unreliable sources like Fashion Times, Something Haute, Coin Telegraph, ProPakistani, TechJuice, OKX, Gizchina, and even Twitter and YouTube, which are all unacceptable sources, particularly for BLPs. —Saqib (talk | contribs) 19:38, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- I would request you to again go through the citations and what exactly are they being referred to. Coin Telegraph is an internationally acclaimed source for Cryptos and related information. OKX is a crypto exchange where many acclaimed cryptos are traded. Twitter, YouTube, ProPakistani I had already removed. Aanuarif (talk) 19:52, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- These sources are all considered PR sites and we typically avoid citing them, particularly on BLPs. —Saqib (talk | contribs) 19:56, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed! However, I can provide more citations from Independent Sources. Provided the information stays there, perhaps you can add the Citation Needed template at places where required. Aanuarif (talk) 19:57, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- I recommend that you create a draft in your own user namespace. I'll review it to ensure it complies with WP:BLP standards. I won't advise you to directly edit this BLP. —Saqib (talk | contribs) 19:59, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- You mean on my talkpage? Aanuarif (talk) 20:01, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, BTW why are you promoting him as a cryptocurrency expert? To my knowledge, Waqar Zaka has paid users in the past to edit his BLP. Has he done so again? Otherwise, why would you or anyone promote him so blatantly as a cryptocurrency expert when he's not? —Saqib (talk | contribs) 20:08, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if he has paid anyone! He is a cryptocurrency expert, again as written by several publications and was hired by the Govt. of KPK in the same role, for which I had given the citation of Business Recorder. Here's the link: https://www.brecorder.com/news/40092705
- Hope this helps! Aanuarif (talk) 20:15, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- BTW, may I ask why are you removing all the information? To my knowledge, there have been cases in the past where someone had paid to remove the information of Pakistani influencers and leaders. Is again some opposing lobby doing so? Aanuarif (talk) 20:21, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- Really? I'd like more information about those cases. Could you please provide it, or are you making this up? —Saqib (talk | contribs) 20:26, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Aanuarif, I want to emphasize that Saqib is correct - your edits appear to be promotional in nature and do not conform to our standards for reliable sources and WP:BLPs. Further editing of this nature could lead to your behavior being seen as disruptive. I recommend you take their advice. —Ganesha811 (talk) 20:27, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- You mean on my talkpage? Aanuarif (talk) 20:01, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- I recommend that you create a draft in your own user namespace. I'll review it to ensure it complies with WP:BLP standards. I won't advise you to directly edit this BLP. —Saqib (talk | contribs) 19:59, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed! However, I can provide more citations from Independent Sources. Provided the information stays there, perhaps you can add the Citation Needed template at places where required. Aanuarif (talk) 19:57, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- These sources are all considered PR sites and we typically avoid citing them, particularly on BLPs. —Saqib (talk | contribs) 19:56, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
