Irish?

User:DanielTokenhouse, you changed "English" to "Irish" here, using this source in support. I wonder could you clarify which part of that source you think provides such support? I see that it quotes Farrell as saying: "Everyone from the north-west of England is from Ireland anyway. You go from Liverpool straight across the east Lancs to Manchester and it's full of Irish. I've got [Dublin] ancestry that goes back three or four generations, and so has my wife." but I'm not sure that statement can be used as a WP:RS for Irish nationality? I see no evidence for English nationality either. The evidence is stronger for Irish. We can't assume that people's default setting is English. DanielTokenhouse (talk) 10:51, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
He was born in Wigan. In which part of Ireland is that? But could you please answer the question? Many thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 11:04, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So? Boris Johnson was born in New York. As was de Valera. DanielTokenhouse (talk) 11:06, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
