The 2005-06 UMass Minutemen basketball team represented the University of Massachusetts Amherst during the 2005-06 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Minutemen, led by first year head coach Travis Ford, played their home games at William D. Mullins Memorial Center and were members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. They finished the season 13-15, 8-8 in A-10 play[2] to finish in a four-way tie for seventh place.
