Dhadhor (Dharhor) are a subgroup of the Yadav caste in India. Some live in the region between Etawah and Mainpuri in the state of Uttar Pradesh.[1] They are a tribe of Aheers in Benares and Gorakhpur divisions respectively. They are reckoned in the Tushreeh-ul-Akwam amongst the Doab Aheers.[2] The Dharhor Ahirs claim to have been the first settlers of Senapur (Jaunpur), and it may be that they had the responsibility of protecting the original Thakur settlers.[3]
