Don Stewart (Ontario politician) → Don Stewart (Canadian politician) – Don Stewart is a federal politician. He should be referred to as Canadian because of that, as is already the case of the opening of the article. "Ontario politician" is a more appropriate designation for members of Ontario's Provincial Parliament, not the House of Commons. Patriot of Canuckistan (talk) 01:43, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose as proposed Donald Stewart shows two additional Canadian politicians with the name, including one other named Don Stewart. The provincial disambiguator is sufficient and tracks with how we handle such American disambiguators, though an alternative could be Don Stewart (Canadian politician, born X year) for both. Curbon7 (talk) 11:39, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
- Note that the two other Stewarts are both provincial/territorial politicians, not federal. Patriot of Canuckistan (talk) 19:29, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
