Couldn't make it less obvious if they tried. After BaharatlıCheetos2.0'ın devamı was blocked on 27 July 2024 [1], they suddenly went AWOL. They didnt even try to protest against their block. A day later, the account of ShemsiEfendi is created.
Like the IP of BaharatlıCheetos2.0'ın devamı (see the previous SPI for proof) [2] they go to the talk page of the same user to ask for their review on their article [3]. Both writing in Turkish too, and almost saying the exact same thing "I would be very happy if you could point out the things you disagree with or find wrong." and "I'd be happy if you read it and send your criticisms to my message page."
ShamsEfendi also tries to expand the horribly written and obscure articles Battle of Derbent (1922) and Samsun clashes (1920) created by BaharatlıCheetos2.0'ın devamı. How does a brand new user know of these articles? --HistoryofIran (talk) 22:33, 4 August 2024 (UTC) HistoryofIran (talk) 22:33, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
- Found the smoking gun. ShemsiEfendi is edit warring for BaharatlıCheetos2.0'ın devamı in the Greek Wikipedia [4] [5], even getting blocked for sockpuppetry [6]. Can we do a Checkuser to see if they have other socks lying around? HistoryofIran (talk) 22:38, 4 August 2024 (UTC)

Editing shows a Turkish-Nationalist bent. Shemsi's edit to the Samsun clashes consisted of adding a low quality photograph with a falsified caption. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Insanityclown1 (talk • contribs) 23:38, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
DevletGiray is very likely related to BaharatlıCheetos2.0, I agree that it's him. Aside from the overlap and similar edits, they're also using wiki lingo as if they're already experienced [7], [8]. Also the interaction analysis between BaharatlıCheetos2.0 second account, BaharatlıCheetos2.0'ın devamı (talk · contribs), and the presented users is highly overlapping as well (even more so) [9]. Addition
DevletGiray was created on 18 August; Just like User:BaharatlıCheetos2.0'ın devamı, the editor seems particularly interested in Turkish and Greco-Turkish wars (overlap). Right after joining the user created the Draft:History of the Greco-Turkish Wars. Both users opened a discussion at the Talk:Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922), the only currently open discussions there. In Mustafa Kemal Ataturk they both edit the battles in the infobox (BaharatlıCheetos2.0'ın devamı, DelvetGiray), same editing pattern in the Franco-Turkish War article, both editing the infobox (BaharatlıCheetos2.0'ın devamı, DelvetGiray). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Piccco (talk • contribs)
