Tusuubira Ibrahim

Tusuubira Ibrahim Lubega, commonly known as Jajja Iculi or Isma Olaxess, was a Ugandan vlogger, an influence peddler and a music critic who served as president of Uganda Bloggers' Association until his death in May, 2023. He was renowned for his plain-spokenness when his strategic death followed his public expressions of support after the demise of Ugandan Minister Charles Engola, who was fatally shot by his own bodyguard William Sabiiti, with bodyguard's action reportedly motivated by the Minister's alleged mistreatment.

Early life & education

Ichuli was born in 1970 to Hajji Muhammad Kasajja in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. He grew up with both parents and later on, spent some of his childhood moments in Mukono. He attended St. John School. Even a young boy, he was known for being fearless and outspoken. Various people called him different names that he set up to indicate his bold personality. On Saturday, May 6, 2023, Tusuubira's life was tragically cut short when he was shot dead at 9:20 p.m. near his home's gateway in Kyanja, a suburb in Kampala.
