Dagnė Vildžiūnaitė (born 1981, Vilnius) is a Lithuanian film producer.[1]

Biography

Dagne Vildžiūnaitė was born in 1981 in Vilnius. After graduating from Vilnius Secondary School No. 9 (now Vilnius St. Christopher's Gymnasium), she studied psychology at Vilnius University and television and film management at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. In 2007, together with director, actor and producer Mykolas Vildžiūnas, she founded the Just A Moment film studio, which has so far produced more than three dozen full-length and short feature films and documentaries that have received national and international recognition. Dagne and her films are laureates of international film courses Rotterdam Lab 2013, EAVE 2012, Ex-Oriente 2011, EURODOC 2010. She is a member of the Lithuanian Film Academy, a member of the jury of the documentary section of the Warsaw Film Festival (2013),[2] the film festival Nepatogus kinas (2014).[3]

In 2015, the influential British film industry publication Screen International named Dagne one of the most promising producers of world cinema.[4]

She gives lectures on media literacy in Lithuanian schools. Выступает с лекциями по медиаграмотности в школах Литвы[5]
