No hard feelings

[edit]

Sorry about edit warring with you yesterday. I think you've made many great contributions to the encyclopedia, and I hope you continue editing. I've added your restoration of Wellnhopterus to the Javelina azdarchid article. Hemiauchenia (talk) 05:49, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh don't worry it's perfectly fine I'm equally at fault, and also that's curious since I just added it as well, I wonder how Wikipedia will handle the edit conflict since I didn't get the warning. Sauriazoicillus (talk) 05:59, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reversion

[edit]

Hi. Just to let you know, about that reversion I did on hagryphus, where inadvertently removed good information as well as the most recent change - that IP editor (not blocked) had been making disruptive edits, and after looking at the most recent one, rolled them back but obviously didn't notice that it removed good info as well as a questionable edit. Sorry about that - but mistakes happen when IP editors with a bad history don't provide edit summaries! Laterthanyouthink (talk) 00:49, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The thing is that that is a school IP, someone else was doing disruptive edits, going solely off of edit summaries is bad practise! Sauriazoicillus (talk) 01:21, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Still true about not posting edit summaries, nonetheless. I revert quite a lot of vandalism and we all slip up sometimes. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 06:04, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hypericum aegypticum GA Nomination

[edit]

Hey Sauriazoicillus, a belated thank you for your peer review of Hypericum aegypticum! I just submitted the article for a GAN and thought I should let you know. If you'd care to give any input or lend a hand in the nomination process, it could be helpful to both of us. I've always felt that hands-on learning is the best kind of learning, and it never hurts to have a second pair of eyes on a Good Article nom. If the reviewer thinks it'd be good, I'd love to take you up on your proposal to make a cladogram; thank you for that offer. Best wishes, Fritzmann (message me) 02:24, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That's great news @Fritzmann2002! I'd be more than happy to help make a cladogram if the reviewer thinks its nessecary, however I must warn you, I am in no way familiar with plant taxonomy, so I would need you to send me and image of perhaps a drawing of what you'd like to see. I've submitted by contribution to the GA Nom, wishing you the best! Sauriazoicillus (talk) 07:56, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Scale bar in Thapunngaka?

[edit]

Hi, in your graphic at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:KKF_494.png the reconstructed head would appear to be about 8 times the length of the scale bar, and the scale bar is labeled "100 cm" or 1 meter, which would make the head about 8 meters long, even though the page for Thapunngaka mentions a wingspan of "5.83 to 9.47 meters". Was the scale bar meant be 100 mm/10 cm perhaps, making the head more like 80 cm long? Hypnosifl (talk) 22:32, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for my late reply! Shivers you're right, I'll update that to 10cm right away, thank you so much for bringing that to my attention! Sauriazoicillus (talk) 04:03, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I just noticed your new page for the mythungins. It is well done, but I wonder if it would be more useful to have an actual page for the parent clade, Tropeognathinae, where Mythungini could be covered instead? Really, the whole state of the Anhangueridae page is quite rough. What do you think? -SlvrHwk (talk) 07:27, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oh dear that's a really good point, I didn't realise it doesnt have its own article. I'd be more than happy with a merge, or like a situation with Spinosaurinae and Spinosaurini which just link to Spinosauridae where Mythungini and Tropeognathinae link to Anhangueridae. Sauriazoicillus (talk) 09:36, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mambachiton reconstruction

[edit]

Hey, sorry to bother again, but I noticed that someone uploaded your Mambachiton illustration from Twitter to Commons.[1] Were you aware of this or did you "approve" it? Just wanted to check. -SlvrHwk (talk) 06:35, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not bothering at all this stuff is important! Yeah I was informed of it the other night and the same person helped me put up a speedy deletion notice. In general if I didn't upload it myself or it has my watermark on it, I didn't approve the upload of it. Thanks for checking in! Sauriazoicillus (talk) 06:21, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
