Daytona Beach Weekend is a 1965 American film. It is one of the more obscure teen films from the period although it received a relatively wide release in the US south. Del Shannon appeared in the movie.[1]

It filmed in Florida around Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach and Flagler Beach.[2]

Star Don Jackson was reportedly signed to a long term contract by the producers due to the quality of his performance.[3]

Rayna sang the song "Hopeless" in the film.[4]
