Hi! I'm Kurt Guirnela, a 36-year old associate professor of Computer Science and Information Technology teaching at Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod in the Philippines. I'm a Filipino of Spanish ancestry. Since I prattle about computers all the time in class, I'm a bit bored with that topic. Hence, my contributions to Wikipedia include articles on Philippine history, Philippine geography, Filipino culture, Filipino rock music, Military-related content and Negrense schools.

I am a licensed professional teacher, having taken the oath of professional teachers on November 25, 2006 -- after nearly 15 years of practicing the profession. lol! =)
