The singer & songwriter Michelle Leonard.

Michelle Leonard is British, she was born on the 5th of June 1973 and raised in Germany. She attended british schools in Germany and shared her music teacher with artists such as e.g. Tanita Tikaram. EMI music publishing signed her when she was 17. As an artist Michelle had a number of hits such as "feel so perfect" The song was used for a pan european C&A campaign which went on for three years, with different films around the song. She was the headliner in Munich at the new years celebrations in 2000. AXE (LYNX) also used one of her songs for the "metarmophosis spot". Her voice can be heard on a number of songs such as "Such a surge" with "instant replay" or on several dance tracks such as "The mob" with falling (dance hit which she recorded when she was 17: The theme from Twin peaks). Between 2001 and 2004 Michelle was involved with experimental projects and performed at a number of art happenings and underground events around the world.

In and out of Germany Michelle released over 40 songs between 2006 and 2007 and they all went into the charts . As a writer she is signed to Universal music publishing / edition Tinseltown. Although she is based in Cologne she frequently travels to write with other writers and artists. Her releases and projects include: Hanna Pakarinen with "save my life tonight" (Platinum), Nu Pagadi: Track "Virus" (Gold), Hanna Pakarinen: Out Of Tears (Gold), Nico Weidemann (Perfekte Welle Compilation): Sag Mir Wann. Performance and Music director for the German theater abroad project in New York / Public Theater. Translated the Busted single "Hurra Hurra die Schule brennt".The Musical "Electric Society" was staged on the 12th of November 2005 in Cologne / Germany. Releases in 2006 include: Sandy from the no angels: Album (top 20 / Germany) "Frame of Mind" released: 26.05.06. Tracks include: "It's Over", "Venom", "Occupied", "Living Without You" (Single Released in November 2006) , "Tattooed On Me". Album: Mike Leon Grosch "Absolute" Released: 26.05.06 (reached number 2 in Germany), "This ride" and the number 1 single Don't Let It Get You Down. Vanilla Ninja: Album "Love Is War" (top 20): Album released: 19.05.06. Tracks: "Kingdom Burning Down", "Dangerzone" (single released: 21.04.06), "The Band That Never Existed", "Rockstarz" (single released September 2006), "Battlefield", "Insane In Vain", "Silence", "Love is Just a war" (int. album track), "Say my name" (int. album track). In October 2006 Valentine released her Album "Blue merry-go-round" Tracks: "You and me" - (Single got released in September 2006), "Cruel to myself", "Hell yeah". Releases in 2007 include: Orange Blue with the tracks "Superstar" and "I am not afraid", Nouveau Riche from Sweden with the tracks "Atomic love" and "Another day", Elin with "Superficial", Peilomat with "Grossstadtkinder", several songs for Sistanova September 2007, the top ten hit Lovesongs - they kill me by Cinema bizarre as well as "get off" and "heaven sent" as well as 3 Tracks on the My winter storm Album from Tarja Turunen ("Lost Northern Star", "Ciárans well" and "Calling Grace"). She is also a guest lecturer at the Popakademie for Songwriting and she is well known for her songwriter workshops.
