Advertising
CareerBuilder.com was an advertiser in the Super Bowl in 2005, 2006 & 2007 . They are known for their humorous commercials featuring a man that is frustrated with his job because he works with a bunch of monkeys. However, these ads started to be phased out in January 2007 and replaced with ads concentrating on "thriving," and place office workers in the jungle, fighting for their survival.
CareerBuilder.com is returning to the 2008 Super Bowl ad lineup for the fourth consecutive year with two 30-second spots and is offering a sneak peek into a bigger, bolder creative campaign. With spots appearing in the second and third quarters of the big game, CareerBuilder.com will kick off a fully-integrated, national campaign, which encompasses everything from the national airwaves to “unhappy hours.”
In April of 2006 CareerBuilder.com's site was nominated for a Webby Award in the employment category.
In December 2007, CareerBuilder.com won the coveted Stevie Award for excellence in Customer Service. CareerBuilder.com's Vice President of Customer Care, Michael Hargis was quoted:
"What makes CareerBuilder.com's Customer Care team successful is our commitment to accessibility and resolution. We make it easy for customers to reach a live voice and we work hand-in-hand with other departments to ensure the customer's needs are met. We are honored to receive this accolade in the company of other world class organizations and share this win with our entire organization."
