Nepal Agriculture and Forestry University, Rampur, Bharatpur

Mainly Nepal is a agricultural country, still 62% people of the country are depends on farming. With out development of new technology on agro framing it will be very heard to achieve Nepal’s goal to reduce poverty, to develop advance technology and skill manpower in agro study and forest and nature conservation the government of Nepal decide to open Nepal Agriculture and Forestry University at Rampur in BharatpurNepal by merging the institute of Agriculture and Animal Science and its affiliated campus in Sundarbzar and Bhairahwa with the Institute of Forestry Hetuda and its affiliated campus on Pokhara . currently this institute and campus are under Tribhuban University.

This university will start its function from this year , aim of this university is to produce more skilled manpower on the agro development and forest conservation. The office of the vice chancellor and rector will be in Rampur in Bharatpur.
