John XXIII College, Perth

John XXIII College is a Catholic co-educational school in Perth, Western Australia. The school provides education from kindergarten to year twelve students.
The college is the result of the merger in 1977 of the Jesuit Saint Louis boys school spread over different campuses (first opened in 1938) and Loreto Convent girls school (first opened in 1897). In 1986 the school was relocated to its present site in Mount Claremont.
School Sports
John XXIII College offers a wide range of sports. Annual sports carnivals include Athletics, Cross country and Swimming. John XXIII provide many sporting opportunities including; Rowing, Swimming, Rugby, Athletics, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Cross Country, Netball and many more. The school is proud to have Eamon Sullivan (Australian Olympic Swimmer) in it's list of alumni, and this year John XXIII saw two students beat three of Eamon's school swimming records, one of them by one whole second, in the inter-house swimming carnival. The school is also proud to have had a female student complete the annual Cross Country in the time frame for the first time.

Student Representative Council
At John 23rd, there is a representative council for the students, built up of elected student body members. The head boy and head girl, house captains, and specialist captains make up this body.
