Hey, To load images to wiki, you need to make your own account. Then click upload file on the left. Then click "my own work". You can then select the license of your choice and upload the image. If you dont want to create an account, I can upload the images for you if you declare "I am the creator of this image and I license it under {license of your choice}" Let me know if you need me to do so. Yes dude, can't wait for ur pics.. perhaps u can change ur name just for our sake (something they will find less 'offensive') and I think Nikkul can take care of the rest. This india article has no good pics compared to the China or USA page. We need something better. PLease help us. Ur pics can also be helped upgrade some pages of Indian cities. The account exists, it's listed on the username list, and it was created on August 2006, as seen on the user's log. If you can log in, then you just need to make an edit to your talk page to prove it.

If you can't log in when you enter your password then you should request a new password to be sent to your email. If you didn't specify an email or you can't access any more the email account that you specified back on 2006, then, in that case, I'm afraid that you are locked out of your account and that you will need to create a new one. --Enric Naval (talk) 03:22, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't around when the events that led to the blocking of Aryan818 took place, but if what I read on the ANI is correct, Aryan818 was banned because of edit warring and un-civil behavior, not merely because of a supoposedly neo-Nazi nickname. well, that was the problem. The correct name was User:ARYAN818, with all capital letters, while you were trying to use the name User:Aryan818, and that's why we couldn't see the block on your account.

ARYAN818is indef blocked for inadequate name [1] and has had his user page deleted [2] and talk page deleted [3]. It seems that there was a problem with the case sensivity.

I searched ANI, and the history of this account is definitely impressive. The name caused a good amount of controversy, and the behaviour didn't help:

ARYAN818, I'm afraid that you will not be allowed to continue editing under your old name, and that you will have to create a new username. I am soryr Aryan(if that is really your name!). I beleived your story at first, but your history of problems , first as Aryan818 and then using this anonymous login seem to show that you have not learn your lesson. Take for instance, your message above:"DEEPAK....YOUR WRONG...." . Anyone who edits talk pages on Wikipedia knows that using large caps is equivalent to SHOUTING. Only shows your agressive behavior is unchanged. Anyway your newer posts (even if restricted to talk pages ) basically continue with your "Aryan" harping: [4] and getting personal with other users:[5].

I find the Aryan and 818 post code excuse a bit too good to be true. If you are sincere about editing( which doesnt seem to be) and civil behaviour , you would have long ago taken a different username (Why not something like Aryan+lucky number or Aryan+DOB? Thats what most people do with email addresses.) But your obstinacy in demanding that you be allowed to edit as Aryan818 and nothing else only proves that your agenda is Aryan POV pushing.

A look at your history of problems(as pointed out to by Enric Naval above) and your edits using this IP seem to contine in the same vein. Your long rant above is not going to help. And Yes! it is not permissible for a blocked user to make edits using anon IP. That becomes sockpuppetry. A block doesn't just apply to an ID , it applies to an editor( any experienced Wikipedian may please correct me if I am wrong). Again the same question: why dont you pick up a new username, something like .. "SimplyAryan" :-). Why do you need Aryan818(and nothing ellse). That really gets me curious(btw the most common number people add to their names is their lucky number or DOB. I seriously dont think most people would want to put thier pin code. I guess there would be at least a thousand Deepaks living in the same postal area as me). Why is it ok for them to say whatever they want, but if I dare respond, its called my "long ranting"?.....And I didnt know it was not permissiable to edit if im blocked. I mean wikipedia allows people who are NOT LOGGED IN (as i am not logged in sometimes because i cant edit) to edit things. So it let me do it right?.....And when you say anonymous IP....I mean....Many times I end my edits with the four symbols of ~....SO I do usually mark my edits.....Anyway you asked me why I need to use Aryan818. Please dont get taken in by all that. He has been canvasing all around wikipedia using some excuse or the other in the hope that if he seems helpful and other editors plead his case he will be unblocked. (As an aside: IMHO The India page has sufficient picutres, any more and it will seem more like a photo album than an encyclop article). If he wants to he can uplad his pics to flickr or some other site and post a copyleft or GDFL notice there. Then some other editor can pick his photos. MY USER NAME IS ARYAN818. On my user page it said not to block me because of my user name. This was put in partly by OTHER wikipedia members (not just me, if at all by me)....and yet i was blocked again. And ive been blocked for a long time. And no one is unblocking me. I'll unblock, but it's conditional: You gotta lay low on the caps, man :-) I think the principle confusion has been that the username is ARYAN818 and not Aryan818 (which doesn't exist, so far as I know) After reviewing your contributions under User:ARYAN818 (which are principally related to India and Sanskrit topics) and the indef block, I see no reason not to unblock that account.

I'm terribly sorry for the confusion caused. Nevertheless, the ranting above (legitimate, given your frustration, though not civil) will cause some concern in unblocking that username. Caps is always bad form. If you absolutely need to stress something, then enclose it in italics ''like this'' (single quotes). Caps is worse than bold text, which isn't used much in conversation, either, for the same reason as caps. Both CAPS and bold are considered shouting in nearly all situations.

That said: "ARYAN818" is unblocked; "Aryan818" was never blocked so far as I can tell, but isn't blocked at any rate. So if you still have the password for either name, you should have no problem. You might want to go through change username process to get a name that isn't as potentially offensive, since that might come up again.
