Cat picture

I wanted to let you know why your picture in this article has been removed a couple of times. If you check ou the discussion page for cat, you'll see a lot of discussion about that lead image. Several editors have collaborated for a while to try and find a high-quality image that provides a good visual image of the distinctive parts of a cat's anatomy. If you really feel that yours is better than the one that's there, you might bring it up on the discussion page to see what others think. Joyous! | Talk 03:18, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can't find reasons for Amanda's elimination in A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, don't know anything about her and the show, just letting you know. --Elitre (talk) 13:36, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Jay2.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Jay2.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:42, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Jamiroquai Album???

I noticed you have created a new article on a future Jamiroquai album. There seems to be no official mention of this. Can you please add references to the article or explain on my talk page on how you found info on it? Thank you! Bobo is soft (talk) 02:38, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Addicted (Jamiroquai album)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Addicted (Jamiroquai album), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Mdsummermsw (talk) 17:32, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Jay2.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Jay2.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:09, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We should not put who won, based on rumors or what is thought to be fact, until the episodes have aired. Nor should we put who we think is going to get eliminated or win. All of this is why your edits to this article were reverted. Flyer22 (talk) 00:41, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've already advised you before about this. Oh well. Reverted again. Flyer22 (talk) 06:25, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I find it funny that you spend so much time on such a little or no encyclopedic value article. (Phrasia (talk) 06:27, 18 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Someone has to. Besides, I hardly call reverting vandalism and tweaking stuff truly "spending time"... Judging from your edits, you spend way more time editing articles "with little or no encyclopedic value" than I do. Thus it's funny that you would even make such a comment. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Jaykay3.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Jaykay3.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by an adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mdsummermsw (talk) 18:17, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Addicted (Jamiroquai album), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Addicted (Jamiroquai album) is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Addicted (Jamiroquai album) saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please feel free to use deletion review, but do not continue to repost the article if it is deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Project Runway (season 5). Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Project Runway (season 5). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, your edits will be considered vandalism and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The source says 16 designers. I am not saying your edit is wrong, it is conflicted with sourced material. The list of designers will be showing up on Bravo.com soon. <3 Tinkleheimer TALK!! 03:28, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:NKOTB.jpg

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:NKOTB.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? (ESkog)(Talk) 04:53, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Sclubsundown.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Sclubsundown.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Calvin 1998 (t-c) 05:36, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Cillit Bang & the Sea Dragon

A tag has been placed on Cillit Bang & the Sea Dragon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. Mdsummermsw (talk) 12:17, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
