Khan Market is supposedly one of the more upmarket and expensive places to shop in New Delhi, Its located smack in the city center. Surrounded by residential complexes and huge amounts of greenery (including the famed Lodhi Gardens), this area is definitely one of the green-lungs of the capital.

Modern showrooms of most of the famous apparel brands (Nike, Reebok, etc) to quaint delicatessens, this market has them all. The best browsable bookstores are here too.. and so is a book-cafe - peruse books of your choice while sipping your favourite coffee!
