Adam Linger was drafted in 1983 in the 9th round by the Kansas City Chiefs, and was the lowest draft pick to make the squad. He played a flawless every game he played. That year the team won the season finale against the Denver Broncos in a -30 degree temperature. The team had a losing record due to the loss of Joe Delaney on the off season, who was a 100+ yard rusher in the 1982 season.

Adam James Lingner (born November 2, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana) is a former American football offensive lineman who played thirteen seasons in the National Football League with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.
