Are you Mohammed Hasanie?

Hi, MoHasanie. I just thought I should let you know that I have reason to believe you are the same editor as Mohammed Hasanie (talk · contribs). It is against Wikipedia policy to have more than one account without proper justification. Please see Wikipedia:Sock puppetry for a detailed explanation of the ruling. You will also find certain reasons and cases in which an editor can have multiple accounts. But, if none of these reasons apply to you, I suggest you pick one account and stick with it. You should also make links between the accounts.

I sincerely apologize if I have falsely accused you of sock puppetry. If you are in fact a different editor, please forgive me.

Please note: I have left a copy of this message at User talk:Mohammed Hasanie.

General tips

MoHasanie, I would like to give you a few tips that I hope you incorporate into your editing here at Wikipedia. First of all, when you make edits please provide an edit summary. This will tell other editors what you have done and why (sometimes editors revert good-faith, unexplained edits because they think they are vandalism). It will also help yourself if you go back and look for a specific edit you made. Secondly, please refrain from adding a considerable number of images to articles (like you have recently done to UAE-related articles) without discussing such a move on the talk page. It is generally disliked to have too many images on articles. Also, Wikipedia is meant to provide information; images are only used as an aid. The best location for images is Wikimedia Commons, where there are hundrends of galleries. This is why you will see a box at the bottom of certain articles linking to additional media. Third, please preview your edits before you save them. When you reorganized the images at Sharjah (city), the outcome was large gaps between sections. By previewing the changes, you will prevent any errors.

If you have any additional questions, I would be glad to help. Or, feel free to read more about editing pages. You could always use {{Helpme}} if you need assistance with anything. Thanks! Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 00:02, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for my late reply, MoHasanie. When I ask you to discuss your edits, I am referring to large edits which add, remove, or change a considerable amount of content. You do not need to discuss edits when you make minor corrections or want to do something that is self-explanatory. Also, since you do not provide reasons for adding so many images in the edit summary, reverting your edit is okay. You need to explain why you added the image and if there was any reason for the specific organization. If you do not do this, I and several editors will revert your edits without thinking about it.
If you feel that the article about Abu Dhabi (and Dubai International Airport) is in terrible condition, please feel free to improve it. Anyone can add information, correct erros or make any other changes. The point is that the information needs to be sourced and it has to be correct. If you change something that has the potential of being controversial, please explain it in the edit summary or explain it in more detail on the talk page.
I will only revert your edits if the changes were incorrect, were unexplained or were too much of a change that had no reason behind it. I encourage you to make edits and changes to whichever article you want. If you do things correctly and participate in discussions on talk pages, then there will be no need to revert your edits. If you have any other concerns, please let me know. Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 21:44, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Emirates Airline

I think I must have got a bit confused when I saw this set of edits and I misread "...Emirates SkyCargo, the freight subsidiary of The Emirates Group." It looks as if Emirates SkyCargo should not be listed in the subsidiaries box but the others, based on being subsiduaries of Emirates Airline, should be in the box. Then in The Emirates Group they should be listed under the Emirates Airline heading, in the same way as the Dnata ones. Sorry about that, I've changed the article back but removed the SkyCargo listing. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 22:00, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dubai International Airport

Hi! I just reverted your removal of the overview section at Dubai International Airport. It was probably an accident, so it's no big deal. \ / () 10:30, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AAESS School Article

Thank you for your comments regarding the AAESS entry. As a student I felt it was necessary to edit the page and provide accurate information about the school to anyone who is interested in enrolling their children in the school. The page also contained a lot of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.

I am also unsure if there should be a section about the "controversy" over the 2007 scandal and the various other scares and crimes that have occurred at the school. Such a section could possibly dissuade parents from enrolling their children in the school, but this isn't an advertisement, it's an encyclopedia!

The best thing would be to completely rewrite the entire article, I am currently working on a draft of a new one. StarGhost604 (talk) 16:25, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll keep a watch on it. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 20:34, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Emirates

Hi!
Emirates has a Passenger Fleet of 120 Planes. Emirates Sky Cargo has a Fleet of 7 planes. So the total is 127 planes but we are writing it as 120 in Emirates Article and 7 in Emirates Sky Cargo Article.

Its was 129 because Emirates Sky Cargo had 9 Aircraft before BUT

Now Emirates Sky Cargo has 7 Aircraft after 2 aircraft (747-200F and A310-300F) have been phased out.
So 120(Emirates Airline) + 7(Emirates Sky Cargo) = 127 Aircraft Thanks. (Druid.raul (talk) 11:30, 7 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Do what ever you want because in any case i am pulling out of editing Muslim Airlines and Airports.
Now i concentrate on only on Air India, Jet Airways, Kingfisher Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Eva Air, China Airlines, Air China, Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airways and Airlines and Airports of Far East Asian Countries. (Druid.raul (talk) 15:21, 7 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]

I'm very sorry if its because of me you've stopped editing Arab airline articles, BUT you should have been more clear about what your editing before you just clicked "save page". After all, we are trying to make Wikipedia more accurate. (MoHasanie (talk) 15:36, 7 March 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

Hi ,sorry for the previous remark of not editing "Arab Airlines" ,i just wrote that because i was upset related to something else. I take it back.
see Emirates has 123 civilian aircraft now and 7 freighter aircraft. Only when you add every thing (i.e. both Civil and Cargo) the fleet becomes 130 (+232 Orders,30 Options,20 Purchase Rights)
Civilain Aircraft details are displayed on the Emirates article and Cargo Aircraft details are displayed on the Emirates SkyCargo article respectively.
I have the fleet details and pictures of every aircraft Emirates has operated before and which its currently operating. Not only Emirates but also most of the Major Airlines of the World.
I always keep the watch on articles of Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Air India, Jet Airways, Kingfisher, Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines because these are my favourite because i hope to be a pilot in one of them in the future. I check these articles and their websites daily to keep the fleet and destinations updated on Wikipedia.

So far as i know Emirates has 123 civilian A/C currently. i can be wrong in the Cargo fleet but when it comes to civilain fleet i am more than 100% sure.

Emirates Incident

Hi, thanks for your message on my talk page. In WikiProject Airlines page content guidelines there are criteria established for the inclusion of accidents / incidents on Airline pages as follows:

  • Incidents and accidents
    • Accidents or incidents should only be included if:
      • The event was fatal to either aircraft occupants or persons on the ground;
      • The event involved hull loss or serious damage to the aircraft or airport;
      • The event resulted in changes to procedures, regulations or processes affecting airports, airlines or the aircraft industry.

These criteria were established by consensus with several project members to avoid airline and airport articles becoming cluttered with minor, non-notable incidents, many of which happen almost every day around the world to one airline or another.

Unfortunately the Emirates incident you refer to does not qualify for inclusion because it is too minor. If it were included then dozens of similar incidents would need to be added to all airline articles, and similar incidents for Emirates would also need to be included (there will actually be many of these). Hope this answers your question? Thanks. SempreVolando (talk) 19:27, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the response. Sorry, but an engine fire does not constitute serious damage to the aircraft. An incident I was personally involved recently in would require an entry on Wikipedia if that were the case! It happens all over the world dozens of times every year. Emirates Orders

30 A330-300 and 30 A350XWBs are just Letter of Intent and NOT firm orders.
Emirates has 58 firm orders for A380-800s.
All this is according to the Airbus Orders and Deliveries Press Release dated March 2009. You can download it and see it for yourself the firm orders of each and every airline from the A300s to A380s.

Emirates modern history

Hello, I need citations for the following which is in the section Modern history-

"Pakistan was the first country to receive flights from Emirates Airline and it still does to this day. British Airways stopped flying to Pakistan for two years after 9/11 [17], Emirates continued to serve Pakistan.[citation needed] The service is useful for Pakistani diaspora in America, Europe and the Middle East.[citation needed]"

User MilborneOne (talk | contribs) keeps deleting the paragraph but he has recentley added many "citation needed" tags. I am sure you know how popular Emirates is with Stanis in the UK Americas etc. You can add the citations if you know where to find them, finally I am sure you will be aware just how important the PK route is to Emirates.

Thank you for your help 82.24.79.155 (talk) 16:09, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Okay now we only need sources for the following two sentences: "Emirates continued to serve Pakistan *(post 9/11)* [citation needed]. The service is popular with Pakistani diaspora in America, Europe and the Middle East.[citation needed]"

btw*( )* indicates information not in the article

Thanks bhai ! 82.24.79.155 (talk) 00:10, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Emirates Airline

I'll take a proper look in an hour or so. I'm at home but I'm leaving for work in a while and it would be better to look through it in one go rather than a bit now and the rest later. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 15:27, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. (MoHasanie (talk) 15:30, 7 June 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

I had a look and it seems that the main thing is the size and that's being worked on. It's hard to say what could be put into another article though. You might want to try asking at Wikipedia:Peer review. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 17:51, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! actually i did not omit one A340-500. it was already omitted when i edited it. i just edited the thing because i had read that the damaged A340-500 would be to expensive to repair and would be mostly scrapped. The reason why i don't put Emirates Sky Cargo Fleet in the Emirates Article is that IT ALREADY HAS ITS OWN ARTICLE. If the Emirates article was like the Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific article then we could had put it. Even Singapore Airlines and Singapore Airlines Cargo, Lufthansa and Lufthansa Cargo have their fleets listed on their own articles. I think so you should start a topic on the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aviation suggesting to merge all Airline and their respective Cargo articles as ONE article like for eg. Etihad and Etihad Crystal Cargo, Qatar Airways and Qatar Airways Cargo, Cathay Pacifc an Cathay Pacific Cargo are in one page or talk to this user regarding this (User Talk:MilborneOne).

In general, there is no rule against a user erasing his talk page, if he's not blocked, which I don't think ETB is. Is he under a restriction of some kind that I overlooked? Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots 18:05, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There appears to be no reason to prevent Eric from blanking the page; I've reverted MoHasanie's action. --Ckatzchatspy 19:26, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello User:Ckatz, I brought back his talk page because he removed his block warnings from the past. He can remove anyhing he wants except those, because administrators need to know what kind of editor he is. (MoHasanie (talk) 12:36, 9 June 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

That can be discerned from his block history. Users that are not currently blocked are entitled to remove anything they want from their talk pages. And in case you're wondering, I used to argue your position. What I've stated here is what I've been told by admins when I made that argument. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots 12:50, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well ok, i beleive you. Thank You for clearing that up. --MoHasanie (talk) 12:55, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ckatz is free to correct me if I'm misunderstanding. But I think the only hard-and-fast rule is that blocked users are not allowed to delete unblock requests from their talk pages, while they're blocked. Obviously that info is also in the history, but I think it's intended as a time-saver for admins who look for open unblock requests. Emirates Airline

Hello User: MoHasanie, can you please upload some more photos of Emirates Airline aircraft both inside and out. Thank You (195.229.236.215 (talk) 12:19, 9 June 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

MoHasanie can you also try to convince User: J Milburn to allow User: Nabil rais2008‎ back on wikipedia. He has done so much good work, and i think you know that he was really expanding the Dubai article. Thank You again (195.229.236.215 (talk) 12:30, 9 June 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

Well, i'll try my best to upload any new photos, however i won't be travelling for another month so it will be a little difficult, and you'll have to wait. Also, i do agree that User: Nabil rais2008‎ was in the process of expanding the Dubai article, and so i will try my best to convince User: J Milburn to give him one last chance, but after that i will not be willing to bring that user back, as already he has too many copyright violations. Can u please fix the Abu Dhabi article. User: Jasepl keeps runing it. --195.229.236.213 (talk) 18:18, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I do agree that tthe Abu Dhabi Airport article really does need alot of work done to improve it, but i mean, i can't say Jasepl ruins it, he just adds information to it like any editor. If he keeps controlling the article and reverting you edits, than i suggest you tell an administrator, like User:CambridgeBayWeather, and not starting a edit war. --MoHasanie (talk) 19:19, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: United Arab Emirates

Hi MoHasanie

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner - I've been really busy recently. I'm not the great UAE expert I sometimes pretend to be (at Talk:Dubai)! So... given my lack of time, and my lack of expertise, I'm not convinced I'd be a good person to help.

However... a good way to proceed might be to look at the quality scale (United Arab Emirates is currently a "B", based on when it was last assessed) and see whether the assessment is correct. Look at the criteria for higher levels (the next highest level is "Good article", for example) and see if the article now meets those criteria. If it doesn't, then fix the problems, and if it does then post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Western Asia and ask that someone review United Arab Emirates again.

It looks like United Arab Emirates falls within the scope of Wikipedia:WikiProject Western Asia - if you aren't already a member of that WikiProject it might well be worth signing up - the editors there will be able to give you lots of good advice on improving the article, if necessary. This WikiProject is responsible for the Quality Scale against which the article has been (and will be) assessed, so the project members will be the best people to advise on improving the article.

Cheers - and good luck! I've now got United Arab Emirates on my watchlist, so I'll try and help out where I can! This flag once was redpropagandadeeds 12:18, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
