82-yard Pass
"During Long's rookie season in the NFL, he was called into the game after an injury suffered by then-starting Quarterback Joe Ferguson, on the following play from scrimmage, Long promptly threw an 82 yard touchdown strike to the back of the endzone."
This cannot be accurate. An 82-yard pass to the back of the end zone would stand alone as the greatest throw in professional football history. It's far more likely that this was either a catch and run for an 82-yard touchdown, or Chuck Norris passing the ball. If anyone can find a video of the throw, I suggest you update this.
