Since user boxes concerning serious sociological and political matters are really hard to come by, I'd like to state here that--although I have several close friends in the USA and my favourite TV shows are American--I am very critical of some of that country's policies of
using war as a means of "conflict solution" while actually expanding the sphere of influence
proclaiming to defend democracy abroad without adhering to democratic rules at home
putting economy above ecology, culture and human rights
restricting freedom of information whenever it is in the own interest
