Deconychura is a genus of bird in the Dendrocolaptinae subfamily. Traditionally it contained two species:
- Long-tailed Woodcreeper (Deconychura longicauda)
- Spot-throated Woodcreeper (Deconychura stictolaema)
However, because recent genetic evidence indicates that these two species are not close relatives, a new genus, Certhiasomus, has been described fro the Spot-throated Woodcreeper.[1]
