Kris Deedigan is a British actor best known for her portrayal of Des Townsend in the long-running Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks.

Career

Deedigan's first main role was playing Des in soap opera, Hollyoaks which he began filming in 2009. In 2010 his character was axed from the series after producer Paul Marquess conducted a cast cull.[1] Deedigan also contributed to Hollyoak's charity single, 'Sing for England' which is released in 2010.[2] Kris Deedigan currently lives in North London. Deedgan had a minor role in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale in 2006. Kris left Hollyoaks on 6th August 2010 as his character Des was arrested for Racism and Vandalism. He was Nominated Best Newcomer at the Inside Soap Awards 2010 for his portrayal of Des.
