Halls Head is a coastal suburb of Mandurah, immediately west of Mandurah's central area. It is largely residential and contains several canal estates developed since the 1980s. Doddies Beach is the areas most popular beach with barbeques on the foreshore and a cafe directly across the road.
The locality was named after Henry Edward Hall (1790-1859) who received a land grant of some 16,594 acres (6716 ha) to establish a farm there in the 1830s.[2]
