African language names

Aim:

  • to organise articles for very closely related languages (eg Zulu/Tswana) in southern Africa
  • to seek consensus plus organise redirects so that variant language names find each other (eg Setswana/Tswana)

General

Hi JackyR: I note you are wanting to do an article on Bulawayo: my home town when I was a kid. At the risk of offending you: are you ill in some way? Just inferred this from some of your writings. I just saw a program about a guy who had a large rock fall on his legs in a creekbed on a trppical island - he lost the legs, but recently climbed Kilimajaro on two impressive spikey stumps! Fantastic stuff. Cheers. Lgh 02:24, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi JackyR, I lived in Oxford Rd, Hillside for 7 years. I went to Hillside school and CBC, and remember it all pretty clearly, though of course it all has the golden tinge of childhood over it - no doubt if I went back I'd be disappointed - which is why I don't go back.
