PERSONAL: While coaching football at Iowa City Regina Mitchell led the Regald to it's first winning season in 1998 going 6-3. The following year in 199 they posted the same record and were dstrict co-champs. However, Mitchell was involved in a scandall when he dated his former student while she was still in high school who then later became his girlfriend. Mitchell left Regina the following years after coaching in 2000 due to the scandal. No charges were ever filed.
