Greetings! I'm Gloomy Dawn, also known as Gloomy, Dawn, Doom and Gloom, Gloomberg, or simply G. D., and I am an editor on Wikipedia. I've been editing off and on since 2010, and this is my third (and hopefully final) account. My primary goal here is to assist with minor article corrections, including typographical, grammatical and similar errors, as well as aid in the fight against rampant article vandalism. I hope to expand my horizons, however, and contribute with broader edits and even new article creation. For now, though, I'm limiting my scope to a few simple efforts.

Even though I have edited for five years total, I have been inactive for the last three, and so am still learning my way around a few things I've forgotten. First, I forgot just how large the site is and has become, and how daunting that can seem to new editors. I've also forgotten many of the important intricacies involved in making the cogs turn. So if I make any mistakes, please assume the best of faith and message me on my talk page, or use the nifty e-mail topicon on this page. I appreciate any and all help in getting back into the Wikipedia groove of things.
