Thongvan Fanmuong was a Cambodian general. He was a graduate of Ecole d'Etat Major and Ecole de Guerre, both in France. He fought the Red Khmer until they took Phnom Penh. He was the last general that remained in office. Major general Fanmuong was the right-hand man of General Sosthene Fernandez the commander-in-chief of the Khmer National Armed Forces.
