Impact logo
So, I hate to say it, but I reverted your update of the Impact logo, because the version with the GFW initials was completely unreadable on a white background, as there is no outline on the white lettering. If you can find a version that has an outline, that would be fine. oknazevad (talk) 16:42, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Oknazevad: No worries. I was concerned about that when I uploaded it. I'll look for a better one. JTP (talk • contribs) 16:47, 2 July 2017 (UTC)

Backlog update:
- The new page backlog is currently at 18,511 pages. We have worked hard to decrease from over 22,000, but more hard work is needed! Please consider reviewing even just a few pages a a day.
- Some editors are committing to work specifically on patrolling new pages on 15 July. If you have not reviewed new pages in a while, this might be a good time to be involved. Please remember that quality of patrolling is more important than quantity, that the speedy deletion criteria should be followed strictly, and that ovetagging for minor issues should be avoided.
Technology update:
- Several requests have been put into Phabractor to increase usability of the New Pages Feed and the Page Curation toolbar. For more details or to suggest improvements go to Wikipedia:Page Curation/Suggested improvements

- User:Lourdes/PageCuration.js adds a link to the new pages feed and page curation toolbar to your top toolbar on Wikipedia
- User:The Earwig/copyvios.js adds a link in your side toolbox that will run the current page through

Response to speedy deletion request for Proposition 9
Hi JTP,
The content of Proposition 9 wiki pages comes of a government agency website, the Fair Political Practices Commission, for which I work. We are trying to update the wikipedia pages with information that pertains to our agency and its authority. We believe the content from our website is the appropriate content to be posted on wikipedia. I do not believe there is a copyright infringement since we are also a government agency and the content is not privately owned but part of the public sphere.
- @Fppcphil: Hi Phil, I am currently on the go; I'll explain the situation and some of our policies in about 45 minutes. JTP (talk • contribs) 22:32, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Fppcphil: Phil, welcome to Wikipedia! We are great community with the intent of making the Internet a better place. Thank you for joining us. If you read the message that was left on your talk page by WikiVirusC, they explained conflict of interest. Thank you for disclosing that here, but on the Wikipedia guideline called WP:DISCLOSE, you must disclose that on your user page, which can be found at User:Fppcphil. Also, thank you for adhering to our username policy, explaining that you are one person using the account and not implying shared use, which many business-related accounts often do. And, perhaps the most significant issue, thank you, thank you, for notifying me about your .gov website. This is clearly stated at WP:Public domain#U.S. Government works that .gov sites are in the public domain. I take full responsibility for this mistake, and thus award you with the Barnstar of Diligence, which is [moved to user's talk page). After looking into it more, state and local governments (which I believe you are apart of, correct?) do not release their work into public domain, unless in the states of California and Florida. Thank you for realizing my mistake. I hope I cleared things up; if you have anymore questions, feel free to respond here. Welcome to Wikipedia!

Rollback granted
Hi NotTheFakeJTP. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Anarchyte (work | talk) 02:22, 6 August 2017 (UTC)

Josh Lewis wrestler page
Just trying to fix any issues on this page. I see lots of changes. In rewritten version
For example. Josh Lewis losing NWA tri state tv title to Rob Conway was left out in the new version Also I see placing removed from bodybuilding contest results that are verified and referenced. Examples Arnold classic placing and some contest that were referenced are all together removed
I've been reading the guidelines you marked I'm trying to fix. Can you fix any of these problems? I don't see what's not correct I don't see anything that is not referenced Don't see anything in the guideline that are not Correct NWATilteUpdates (talk) 13:42, 3 September 2017 (UTC)
- @NWATilteUpdates: Hello,
Firstly, may I ask if you are affiliated with the NWA at all? If so, please declare that per WP:Conflict of interest. Also, my apologies for removing that title change; it must have gotten caught in my change of wording. Also, although I'm not sure of WP:WikiProject Bodybuilding guidelines, but it would make sense that only bodybuilding competition wins would be considered notable. Every competition does not need to be listed. I hope I assisted. If you have any further questions, please, do not hesitate to ask. In the meantime, however, do not remove the tags at the top of the page. The issues have not yet been addressed. Thank you. JTP (talk • contribs) 22:39, 3 September 2017 (UTC)
No. I don't have any affiliates with anybody. Just a fan of wrestling. I like stats, I did look at many others Wikipedia pages today as far as how other bodybuilders have there contest history. Looks like on most all contests placing are listed. Some have different cash prizes for 1st threw 6th place. That's prolly a big reason why they seem to be listed. But I'm more of a wrestling fan. But I know much about bodybuilding. Hope I was helpful NWATilteUpdates (talk) 21:06, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
WWE 2K18
what was happened with the crew? released and confirmed suddenly on xbox 360 as was announced for current gens only. Same could be happen with wwe 2k18. twitter id uses word 'OR'. not 'AND'. as microsoft ceased xbox 360 production but still supporting it, so it will be release on xbox 360. line should be 'Not yet expected to be released on Xbox 360 or PS3' instead of 'Not to be released on ps3 and xbox360' or 'not to be released'. contact me on my talk page named Broken Nutshell 111.119.176.82 (talk) 21:29, 3 September 2017 (UTC)
- Hello, @Broken nutshell:. Firstly, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Secondly, I think I understand what you're trying to say. Your grammar is not 100%, but I'll do my best. Of course Microsoft is still supporting Xbox 360 games. Sony is doing the same thing with PS3. Otherwise, the devices would just be bricked. They announced the cease of production on April 20, 2016 (Xbox) and October 2016 (PS3). No more games are being produced for either system. The information is sourced that 2K is not releasing 2K18 on either system is sourced. Your claim that the game will be released on Xbox is unsourced. I hope I cleared things up. If you have any further questions, my talk page is open 24/7. JTP (talk • contribs) 18:43, 4 September 2017 (UTC)

John Saxon (wrestler)
Hey, thanks for getting in touch re: the proposed the deletion of this article. I must admit I did feel I neglected giving it my best effort when I finalised it. I'll get on to sourcing additional information for this ASAP and expanding on it. I'll let you know when finalised so you can review it if you have a moment.
All the best.
Hi. Thankyou for your participation in the challenge series or/and contests. In November The Women in Red World Contest is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. There will be over $4000 in prizes to win, including Amazon vouchers and paid subscriptions. If this would appeal to you and you think you'd be interested in contributing new articles on women during this month for your region or wherever please sign up in the participants section. The articles done may also count towards the ongoing challenge. If you're not interested in prize money yourself but are willing to participate and raise money to buy books about women for others to use, this is also fine. Help would also be appreciated in drawing up the lists of missing articles. If you think of any missing articles please add them to the sub lists by continent at Missing articles. Thankyou, and if taking part, good luck!♦ Dr. Blofeld 08:55, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
Hell in a cell 2017
Hi JTP, first I need to tell you about 81.170.27.227 IP that page Hell in a cell 2017 edited as [1] which is edited inaccurately as it is not a current version of article as changed and corrections have done accurately now.
Second, I need your help here as I've noticed that you mostly made changes on WWE related articles to made them accurate. I want you to do watchlist every WWE related articles to see if there's any mistakes found out there or something found unsourced or poorly referenced and try to fix them. Thank you I'm available 24*7 here and I totally support and thank your proper and positive edits. Cheers. Broken nutshell (talk) 20:35, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
I really support your positive and proper edits you made especially for WWE related articles on Wikipedia so as per above message I need you to kindly respond these things. Thanks. Broken nutshell (talk) 20:38, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) @Broken nutshell: Firstly, the first edit was just vandalism. It happens all the time. It's nothing to fuss over. And secondly, perhaps you haven't noticed, but I've been here for nearly three years. I watch well over 100 wrestling-related pages. I check my watchlist at least 6-10 times/day. Thanks for the advice anyways. JTP (talk • contribs) 20:42, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

Nomination of Steve Millar for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Steve Millar is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Steve Millar until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Allreet (talk) 23:35, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Allreet:
A. There is no active deletion discussion. You should probably create one.
B. Why am I being notified about this? I edited this back on New Year's Day when I removed an improperly formatted hatnote. It's not like I created it. JTP (talk • contribs) 23:58, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
- Very few registered editors have worked on this article, so there aren't many people I could notify. Meanwhile, the guidelines suggest contacting editors who might have an interest. Hence you were among the chosen. Meanwhile, I'm not sure how to create the discussion, but I'll find out and will. Thanks for the suggestion. Allreet (talk) 21:26, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
Revert
You are the third editor so far to revert an edit I made regarding a redirect. I implore you to do more before you follow the bandwagon. Look into the reason why the edits were made, look at the user contributions and their edit in talk pages. This is part of the reason why I don't want to edit on Wikipedia anymore. It is such a mountain to climb sometimes because it's like some editors are following a script blindly. This is not meant to be a hostile message, it is to get you to look into my edits and why I made them. --Dara (talk) 17:25, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
