Sexual orientation edits

Since your edits downplayed some important matters (such as environmental influences), overemphasized others (such as "consistent physical differences between heterosexuals and homosexuals with regard to brain structure, face structure, certain characteristics of the inner ear"), I am glad that FreeKnowledgeCreator reverted you at all of these articles (such as here). For one, we do not give WP:Undue weight to matters such as the inner ear when it comes to discussing sexual orientation, especially in the lead. And when it comes to the scientific consensus on sexual orientation, scientists are clear that they do not know what causes it, but that they theorize that a complex combination of biology and environment causes it. And that is what our Wikipedia articles should state, especially in the lead. Further detail is meant for lower in the article, but with WP:Due weight (and that includes not biasing the content in an undue weight manner). WP:Due weight is related to sourcing. For biomedical topics, including sexual orientation, WP:MEDRS-compliant sourcing is what we should be relying on. Per that guideline, we also generally should not be relying on WP:Primary sources. Second, the lead is meant to summarize the article, per WP:Lead. Important content that summarizes the article should not be cut from the lead. The lead should also typically be longer than four paragraphs. And, lastly, sexual orientation topics are highly controversial, and a lot of matters concerning these articles have been thoroughly discussed, which is why you see the occasional WP:Hidden note. We use "or" instead of "and" for "romantic" and "sexual" because the two do not always go together when it comes to sexual orientation. There's also the fact that sexual orientation is mainly discussed from a sexual attraction viewpoint, although romantic attraction is usually intertwined with sexual attraction. You should first discuss significant changes on the talk pages of these articles before making them. Do not WP:Edit war. If FreeKnowledgeCreator doesn't revert you, then someone else (likely me) will be there to revert you if we find the edits problematic in some way.
