The 1981–82 Iraqi National League was the 8th season of the competition since its foundation in 1974. Al-Talaba won their second league title in a row with a record of 22 matches, 14 wins, 6 draws, 2 losses, 44 goals scored, 16 goals conceded, +28 goal difference and 34 points.[1][2]
