Home Field Advantage

Why did the Dodgers have home field advantage in this series? Back in those days, home field advantage rotated between the two divisions. The Padres had home field over the Cubs in 1984, and the Astros had home field over the Mets in 1986. The Cardinals should have had home field in 1985, yet the Dodgers did.
