Since Villanueva was born in New York, is it accurate to refer to "his native Dominican Republic"? I don't think so. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.63.182.193 (talk) 17:31, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Correct. I reworded the sentence. Zagalejo^^^ 20:25, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Charlie will wear familiar no. 31 (as you can see in a photo, nba.com website) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.34.179.117 (talk) 16:17, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Interview featuring Charlie Villanueva

I came across an article that details Charlie's philanthropic contributions and experiences in the NBA and with his agent.

I think some of the material should be added to the bio section and if not at least a link should be put in the external sources.

Thanks, I've added the link to the article. I might add some stuff to the body of the article later. Or you can try yourself, once you're autoconfirmed. (The page is currently protected, but if you make ten edits and stick around for four days, you should be able to make changes here.) Zagalejo^^^ 21:01, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think they should remove "he's fluent in spanish and is the language he speaks at home" because thats obvious information considering he is hispanic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.42.115.31 (talk) 00:15, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin Garnett / Cancer / Twitter controversy

Do you think the Kevin Garnett / Cancer controversy is worthy of inclusion? It is a story that has lasted a number of days and been covered nationally, but I can see how it might be unfairly negative of Garnett since nothing can be proven. Thoughts?--TM 05:38, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not quite. Garnett claimed he was misquoted, and that he actually said that Villanueva "was cancerous to his team". [1] One other thing: did Garnett and Villanueva actually get into an altercation during the game because of the comment? Zagalejo^^^ 03:04, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
