An alternative to the source of the name "Oxford" in Nunavut's Mount Oxford

According to the scholar Charlton Ogburn Jr., Mount Oxford was actually named not in honor of the university, but in honor of Edward de Vere (1550–1604), 17th Earl of Oxford.[1] Thormusique (talk) 17:13, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
