Merger with Eye of Ra

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was no consensus. I opposed the merger (see my argument at Talk:Eye of Ra#Merger with Raet-Tawy), the initiator has been blocked, and no one else is participating. A. Parrot (talk) 23:03, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Both are pretty much the same entity to the point that Raet-Tawy seems to be used interchangeably both in the Eye of Ra article as well as in the sources listed there.

Building this article back up

So, unfortunately, by removing a lot of the unsourced or blatantly wrongly-sourced statements, I've reduced this article down to a measely two sources. I do know of two others, but I'm unable to access them myself, so I figured I'd drop them here so someone else can pursue them:

  • The 5th band of Lexikon der Ägyptologie has an entry on her on page 152 (I actually do have this one but the particular entry is in French)
  • Caesar in the City of Amun by David Klotz also has a section on page 204; all I can see of it on academia.edu is its table of contents

Hope this helps make up for my wanton destruction! - vagabondsun (it/its + he/him) | talkcontrib 05:01, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
