DescriptionEglwys Llanfigail -Llanfigael Church - geograph.org.uk - 983455.jpg
English: Eglwys Llanfigail /Llanfigael Church This now little used church in a very sparsely populated area is dedicated to the Celtic saint, St Figel (pronounced "Vigel"). There has probably been a church on this site since the Dark Ages - certainly one was recorded in the Norwich Taxation of 1254. By the eighteenth century it had become a ruin but was largely rebuilt in 1835. It is also spelt as Llanfigael.
