Summary

Description The Soviet Projekt 61 destroyer Komsomolets Ukrainy (NATO reporting code "Kashin"-class) steaming alongside the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69). Dwight D. Eisenhower, with assigned Carrier Air Wing 7 (CVW-7), was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea from 29 February to 29 August 1988.
