– The fighter's page gets 1000+ daily average views. The other ones all get less then 10 daily average viewers. There should be a hatnote "for other uses" if/when this change is made. People are primarily looking for the fighter HeinzMaster (talk) 20:06, 7 February 2021 (UTC)Relisting. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 01:11, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t see how 99% of page views could possibly be considered a primary topic grab.--65.92.160.124 (talk) 14:51, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support I believe that the fighter is so overwhelmingly better known than the others of the same name that a search of the name should lead to the fighter. An alternate link should likely be provided to arrive at the disambiguation from the fighter's page. Bdreese2 (talk) 04:15, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Derrick Lewis is the most well known Derrick Lewis on here with an article. The others are a relatively unknown basketball player and a relatively unknown football player.--Rockchalk717 04:18, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Most readers are looking for the fighter. Easy decision in my opinion. Marty2Hotty2 (talk) 07:40, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose none of the support voters address long-term significance. I don't see why this guy is primary over the other notable Derrick Lewises. Pageviews may spike because a subject is current or in the news, but disambiguation needs to be based on the long-term significance of a topic. (t · c) buidhe 01:52, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Buidhe Considering that the page for the fighter has been 99% of the views for the last 6 years and the other pages have never even come close, I really don't see what your point of opposition is. I don't see how you see that this guy is not the primary over other notable Derrick Lewises https://pageviews.toolforge.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&start=2015-07&end=2021-01&pages=Derrick_Lewis_(basketball)%7CDerrick_Lewis_(American_football)%7CDerrick_Lewis_(fighter)HeinzMaster (talk) 08:14, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Again, pageviews can't and don't prove long-term significance. (t · c) buidhe 08:19, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Buidhe One of them has a paragraph at most worth of info on their page and the other is a basketball player who played in the French league, which is not even considered a notable league according to WP:NHOOPS. If not that, then can you direct me to a list of things that do prove long term significance? HeinzMaster (talk) 08:23, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Personality

[edit]

Nothing about his post-fight interviews? He's known as a colorful guy. Should I just add it to personal life? — Preceding unsigned comment added by FrankForAllAndBirds (talkcontribs) 08:32, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
