I'm about to rename this article from National Saving And Trust Company to National Savings and Trust Company. The added "s" in "savings" is because if you look at the actual NRHP nomination form you'll see that although NPS has it in their online database without the "s", the original nomination form uses the plural throughout. The plural form is also consistent with the longer, pre-1907 version of the company's name, the National Safe Deposit, Savings and Trust Company, and with the names of the entities that merged together to create the company, the National Safe Deposit Company and the National Savings Bank of Washington. A quick search of Google Books shows that most sources render the company's name with the word "savings" pluralized. It looks like NPS just entered the name wrong when they digitized the record, and we repeated the error. --diff (talk) 04:16, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
