Remove "benefits" and "effectiveness"

[edit]

  • In several places, the article claims that the benefits and effectiveness of medicines are part of Uppsala Monitoring Centre's work. This is incorrect.:
  • Uppsala Monitoring Centre is only concerned with the risks and safety of medicines, i.e. pharmacovigilance. According to WHO, pharmacovigilance can be defined as "... the science and activities relating to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects or any other medicine/vaccine related problem.
