ethnic heritage in opening line of articles
we don't do this in Wikipedia. Nobody does this. You don't put someone's ethnic heritage in the first sentence of an encyclopedia article. E.g. "Barack Obama is the US president, of partial Kenyan descent" or "JFK was the 35th president of the US, and he was of Irish descent". Think about it. 84.54.170.20 (talk) 09:15, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Hello Him
Thanks for your comments. My name is Valesco a resident of Moulali in Secunderabad. I do not have a written proof about the new name of Andhra Pradesh Express. however, Some SCR leaders speculated and confirmed this news. They said that the news would come official on SCR website soon. I shall send you the link.

Hi there, just to note that the reversion you made to 4-FA appeared to be a reversion of a good-faith edit and should therefore not have been marked as minor.

Edit to Arete Article
Hello, I'm Resposito. You recently undid one of the changes I made to the Arete article. The article stated that Arete's sister was Harmonia, while her sister is actually Homonoia, who is and entirely different goddess. Harmonia is the daughter Ares and Aphrodite, while Homonoia is the daughter of Soter and Praxidike. Both Harmonia and Homonoia are goddesses of concord and their names are spelled similar, yet they are different. I can see why you would think I was mistaken, and I appreciate you taking the time to let me know you undid my edit! Thanks. Respositob (talk) 18:27, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

you edited a page I corrected about Midland, Texas
I have all the proof I need to substantiate what I left in the post. I had a drug test that was falsified, and after traffic ticket for "an at fault" accident (that didn't even meet the counties or city's minimum standards for reporting an accident, I chose to represent myself in their court. After taking the drug test, at a licensed location, later that same day, I passed with flying colors. I do not, and had not taken ANY drugs, period. I do not drink or take any drugs that are not prescribed for my high blood pressure, agina, and after having a heart attack, ever!!!!
The Judge stood up in court during the trial, (and I have a WRITTEN copy of the entire trial), and told me "if you cannot QUOTE me the law, I will not allow ANY of your evidence". He, then, proceeded to do just that. He would not allow any pictures, witnesses, or anything else at and during my trial. I would love to see how you think that is legal. The prosecution, on the other hand, tried to try the case during the jury voidire, and this was stopped when one potential jurer questioned what he was doing. The constitution, says I have the right to present any evidence I have in ANY court of law, and QUOTING THE LAW IS NOT A CONCIDERATION FOR DOING SO, PERIOD. I eventually had to hire my attorney to WALK ME TO THEIR OFFICES, personally, to keep them from harassing me, and falsifying other reports. The probation office had to, eventually, change the way they took and sent in drugs tests. My attorney is Ian Cantacuzene', who has his doctoral in juris prudence. This cost me over $10,000.00. The damage ot my wife's car was less than $800.00, incouding a lofttime garauntee on the repairs. The minimum to report ANY accident in Midland, is 1000.00. The other vehicle, had NO damage, but they tried to say I ran my car under their vehicle (a Ford F-150 pickup) at 20mph. Yet MY vehicle had no front end damage, wheel damage, bumper damage, or any other damage, except in the SIDE of my car where THEY hit ME. I took pictures and have them, to this day. This was in 2005, mother's day to be exact. The pickup was later sold, with a signed statement from the owner stating it had never been in an accident, ever. It is still listed that way on carfax. The oNLY reason I was treated this way, was because the driver of the pickup was the SISTER of a DPS trooper, who just happened to show up at the scene. They even tried to say I tried to flee the scene, while all the tie I was standing in front of this officer the whole time. (proven by written statements of witnesses). The DPS trooper was later stationed to border duty only, by my mom's boss. He is still in that position. Mr. HOLT passed away several years ago.
During the trial, and afterwards ,the assistant D.A. spit in my face TWICE, and when I asked him to stop, he said he would do that all he wanted, and "was I threatening him". I had mearly asked him to please stop spitting in my face, or I would report him to the state bar. There is a LOT more to this case than I care to print here. MUCH more cause and affect.
After my convition, I appealed the case and the District Courts in San Antonio threw the whole thing out and the Judge was repremanded.
In an earlier trial, of copyright infringement, in 1989 (I was a programmer who went to work for another company), The federal Judge presiding, spent 45 minutes with one of the so-called infringed party's witnesses, on the subject of "being of the same vintage, like fine wine, and talked about thier being raised in the same kind of environment, and other things that never petained to the subjet or the trial, what-so0ever. My attorney objected but was told to "shut up and sit down", until they finished. The Judge was Lucious Bunton, whom had over 50% of all of his convictions overturned for these type of infringements.
The 14th District of the U.S. courts, in New Orleans, overturned this verdict, also, specifically stating this had no bearing on the case, and had, apparently been used in the verdict. And then repremanded the Judge, by the Judges of the Appeals court, for constantly pulling this crap in court. His repremands are on the record.
I will also relate to you a TRUE STORY of how one of our city founder's great grand son's had been arrested by the county sherrif, for hitch hiking (which they do a LOT [NEVER hitchhike through Midland, Texas...you WILL be arrested]) from Interstate 20, to his home, about 5 miles. He was arrested, and beaten by the deputies, stripped and cavity searched, before being allowed to make his phone call, at which time he called his father. During his trip top the detention center, he had repeatedly told the office who he was, and would they simply call his dad. The officers kept telling him he was a liar and they would find his real identity when they got to their office. He was and is John Mabee's grandson. One of the Biggest land owners, richest ranchers and richest oil men in Midland. His father came to the Sheriff's office to get his son, and the sheriff ,nearly shit in his pants to find out who he was. This is the same sheriff who PUBLICLY told, in a news paper article ,that IRAN had missiles across the border, aimed at Midland, Texas, which turned out to be bullshit. Reference our news paper. You'll find the story. AND it was the same Sheriff who was repremanded for doing business and trying to arrest people in another jurisdiction, without warrants, or cause. This, too was public. This sheriff now, keeps a much lower profile. One of my best friends from HIgh school was a captain of the deputies and constantly told me horror stories of this sheriff and how he did things. He is now retired after 25 years with the department, under 4 different sheriff's.
The PRIOR Sheriff was "unelected" because he was a wife beater, and was known for beating what he thought were criminals, before taking them to jail. He was also known for this while he was a Texas DPS trooper. He was "relieved from duty" as a DPS trooper, and it is publicly known he beat his wife.
How do I know these things? I have lived here 58+ years. My mother was the Late Robert B. Holt's secretary for 50+ years. I knew him since I was about 9. I also, used to play raquet and hand ball with him as a youth, at our YMCA, and He was a DPS Commissioner for years, under G. Bush and 4 other Governors, of Texas. He was, also, Mayor Pro-tem of Midland, and head of several civil organizations. WhatI know, I know first hand.
What you don't know, shows your ignorance of facts. Why don't you ask before you make your decisions, ans what idiot things you base your decisions on.

For example, in article " Ali Khamenei" he has interted content which is not directly related to Khamenei's views, but some general interpretation about such clothing. Nanking Massacre deaths grossly exaggerated
Hi Jim!
The numbers stated in the "Nanking Massacre" article directly contradict the "Estimates of the death toll for the Nanking Massacre," and because the latter holds more credible references, I would like to edit it so it appears as 40,000 to 200,000, and not 250,000 to 300,000. I'm watching tutorials on wikipedia referencing so I can do this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanking_Massacre (250,000 to 300,000) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estimates_of_the_death_toll_for_the_Nanking_Massacre (40,000 to 200,000)
Furthermore, there is evidence that the 300,000 was grossly exaggerated by the Chinese government, as it says so in the "Estimates" article.
Thanks for your time!

Metamodernism
Hi Jim, apologies for the confusion regarding the 'postmodernism' box on the 'metamodernism' page. I see now that some of the items in that box (for instance 'post-postmodernity') are clearly not subsets of metamodernism, and the box merely provides links relevant to metamodernism. I appreciate the help. I hope you'll be able to help also with recent vandalism on the page--this afternoon an anonymous IP address came in and blanked an ongoing list being worked on re: 'notable metamodernists' (by and large, the standard is that an individual meet WP:NOT and have an eligible source listing them as a metamodernist). The anonymous IP left no note on the talk page after blanking the section, but noted in a brief comment to the edit that the list was 'biased.' I do not know what that word means in this particular context--obviously I know what it means generally on WP--so if you have any insight into why that blanking of the section was allowed, I'd appreciate it. Aluminum Alloy
I simply know about aluminum from being FAA certified for 30 years. My knowledge in this matter is extensive. You may have references, but what the article states at times is incorrect. I post as taught by the United States Federal Aviation Administration. When statements are incorrect, no matter the reference they must be removed, otherwise do not use aircraft as an example. People can be killed by false information. I suggest more research is in order prior to any further impulse deletions.
Such as using adhesive on aircraft is false. I have never seen adhesive used on joining structural aluminum. The only time adhesives are used is when assembling composite aluminum material. This is a international standard.
I simply know these things, like why icebox rivets are used on the French Falcon jet series? Why would I use rivets of like material?
The views of corrosion are off base and should not be posted if incorrect. All aluminum must be painted for protection unless clad with pure aluminum.
I use my programs spell check and what I have is what I will use.

Dear Jim,
Thanks for your response. About the external links, I posted them since it could be further reading material that would help readers perceive more about the article and could motivate them to edit the article and add more information. I was unsure whether the links are valid for posting as per the rules of including external links within articles. Hence I did not add all of them back except the ones which I was sure about. Would the rest be fine to add to the article? Thanks.

- I searched ,all I can find is journal Yanhuang Chunqiu (炎黄春秋) (Chronicles of History). But I highly doubt whether Chronicles of History is official English name for I couldn't find an official one on its official site. Should that naming suffice? And I don't understand why no one required 毛新宇与郝明莉离婚 毛新宇的第一次婚姻(组图)-毛新宇与郝明莉离婚,-城市周刊-citing to be translated? And again, what content in the human shield entry is unsourced? Please tell me.Victorkkd (talk) 09:42, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
The article scope is on topic
welcome to wikipedia to you to! :-)
I see you've deleted my talk page contribution.

I'm sorry but there is nothing wrong with my post.
The scope of the article is multiple resarchers and multiple experiments.
The article is about the whole field of LENR, CMNS and cold fusion experiments.
It is not about a singular experiment. 84.106.26.81 (talk) 03:11, 16 February 2014 (UTC)
Archdiocesan Classical Gymnasium (Zagreb)
Hi Jim.... I was just correcting a semantic mistake...because when saying gymnasium it does not describe a grammar school but a gym, and as I can see this text was in reference to a grammar school. But I didn't know I had to enlist a reference link for that. I am sorry about that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.252.213.64 (talk) 20:23, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
- The article is in fact about a school; but the correct description for it is still "Gymnasium". I think your confusion is coming from that word having different meanings in some cultures. See Gymnasium (school) for clarification of the term in the context of the article you were editing. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 20:33, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
- Renaming a school should be sourced. If it is misnamed, it would be a good idea to get the correct English name and rename the article as well as the contents. It does appear to be a translation error. I see that "Nadbiskupska klasična gimnazija s pravom javnosti" machine translates to "Primate classical high school accredited" (google). The Croatian Wikipedia article is hr:Nadbiskupska klasična gimnazija, "Nadbiskupska klasična gimnazija" machine translates to "Primate classical gymnasium". Suggesting someone perhaps machine translated the article. I would say the article should be renamed. Is there an "official" English name of the school and if so, can you shoot me a link? I can rename the article, but I don't want to mis-rename it. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 23:37, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
- Jim, I've partially reverted your edit. Please see Gymnasium (school) - while the term "gymnasium" means one thing in the USA and some other countries, in other countries the term "usually refers to secondary schools focused on preparing students to enter a university for advanced academic study". It's not a question of mis-translation - the term is legitimately part of the name of the institution. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 03:47, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
- Hello - I received your emails today. The comments from the school support a name change, as they are calling it a High School themselves; but I would prefer having a link to their website supporting that name to support verifiability rather than just an email as it has limits for others being able to review to verify should it be questioned later. Any suggestions for a link? --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 03:29, 17 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi, can you help me with a small project?
I would like to offload most of the sexism article into smaller sub-articles. I have noticed evidence of edit warring and significant clutter on this page. Reduction of clutter on a major page, and offloading the edit warring from the main page to the supplemental pages seems beneficial. 50.83.153.97 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 21:45, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
