The result of the discussion was keep. It's clearly snowing. No point keeping this open any longer. NAC. Timotheus Canens (talk) 06:14, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Seems redundant (obviously anyone who contributes to this site is a "Wikipedian" ;) ). Just takes up needless space in my opinion. SuaveArt (talk) 01:49, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- What is the policy-based reason for deleting this? -- ArglebargleIV (talk) 02:25, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Keep yet another bad faith MFD nom from SuaveArt.--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 02:33, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Keep is there even a precedent from deleting a user box for reason other than being offensive or otherwise controversial? Supertouch (talk) 02:38, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- KeepLet's just get rid of all the userbox pages while we're at it.(sarcasm) Some people like redundant userboxes (like me)!-- iBendiscuss/contribsHow's my driving? 02:52, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Speedy keep: Ridiculous nomination. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 03:03, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Can I get my user box back now, I miss it! Supertouch (talk) 03:13, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- This debate has wasted more than the userbox ever could have. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 05:51, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Wouldn't have if it wasn't for all the whiners here ;) But I guess some people love their "state the obvious" UBs for whatever reason.--SuaveArt (talk) 06:44, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Speedy keep This AfD is as sterile as sending signatures to Nintendo for Mother. —Jeremy (v^_^v Boribori!) 06:27, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- In English please?--SuaveArt (talk) 06:44, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- In English: You'd get farther getting more EarthBound titles in English. —Jeremy (v^_^v Boribori!) 07:04, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Say what??? No habla Espanol.--SuaveArt (talk) 07:08, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm, I guess I'm the only one on this site who has any common sense. Ah well I'm cool with it. ;)--SuaveArt (talk) 06:41, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

- Keep - Extending the principle of WP:NOTPAPER, the argument that this userbox takes up space is inefficacious. The template allows Wikipedians to publicly accept the term "Wikipedian" as it applies to them. ...but what do you think? ~BFizz 06:48, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Finally an intelligent response. Thanks, I actually never understood it from that view before you mentioned it, so I appreciate it. You're the only one here who seems genuinely interested in the project (looks like everyone else is just complaining that a "deletion" tag appeared on their page and didn't even bother to read the discussion). Thanks Frizz.--SuaveArt (talk) 06:52, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- The name's "Fizz", and your welcome. And yes, almost all comments here are on the list of WP:Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions. Note that someone moved the mfd template to the documentation, so the unsightly tag isn't transcluded everywhere that the box is used. ...but what do you think? ~BFizz 07:08, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Keep and I suspect the same would ensue at TfD. No MfD grounds for deletion actually furnished. Collect (talk) 16:49, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Keep, per B Fizz. I am not a fan of userboxes but this one is not unreasonable; plus "What links here" shows that over 1000 users actually have this userbox at their userpages. Nsk92 (talk) 01:08, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
