  1. 치읓 (chieut), a jamo (letter) of the alphabet of the Korean writing system, hangeul.
    In the North Korean order, it is the tenth jamo. In the South Korean order, it is the fifteenth.
    ㅊ (chieut) is pronounced as an aspirated alveolo-palatal affricate ((deprecated use of |lang= parameter) IPA(key): [t͡ɕʰ]), i.e. similar to the English ch.
