-seen

  1. Forms the illative singular case.

Usage

Used after a second- or third-syllable long vowel. For words like neitsyt, this suffix is common, based on a stem like neitsyee-, but -en is preferred in formal usage, using on a stem like neitsye-.

joukkue : joukkueeseen
