• Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.

• Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
• If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.
• If you have any questions, bring them to Wiktionary:Information desk or ask me on my talk page.
• Whenever commenting on any discussion page, please sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~) which automatically produces your username and timestamp.

Heading levels

Hello,

First of all, thanks for adding Strong's numbers! It is greatly appreciated.

One minor quibble is that it may be a good idea to place the links as subheadings to the word in question. What I mean is that you could have:

===Noun===
{{he-noun|...}}

====Further reading====
* {{R:Strong's|H|...}}

===Verb===
{{he-verb|...}}

====Further reading====
* {{R:Strong's|H|...}}

I think it would make the table of contents easier to navigate. (This only applies to entries with multiple Hebrew words. In other cases, just ===Further reading=== is good.) Cheers, 70.172.194.25 22:50, 11 April 2022 (UTC)

Ok, thanks, I was a bit worried about formatting. I don't really know Wiktionary code. I copied and pasted from other that contained Strong’s numbers. I shall bear this in mind! Wiktionary is indispensable to me for learning Latin Greek and Hebrew. I consult it all the time. Hence why I am adding the Strong‘s numbers Aodhmac (talk) 12:07, 13 April 2022 (UTC)

My preference (not a rule) is to put Strong numbers under ===Reference=== instead of ===Further reading===. The R in Template:R:Strong's ... stands for reference. WT:EL is a good place to start on info for formatting. Also WT:H is a good resource. Happy editing.
