[edit]First, thanks very much for running this. I notice that it pretty quickly fixes up new pages; does it monitor RecentChanges or something?
Second, I notice that the links aren't exactly in alphabetical order, e.g. in молниеносный we get this:
[[mg:молниеносный]] [[uz:молниеносный]] [[pl:молниеносный]] [[ru:молниеносный]] [[fi:молниеносный]] [[vi:молниеносный]] [[zh:молниеносный]]
This does appear to order them according to the name of the language in that same language, e.g. Finnish is Suomi and Uzbek starts with an O. Is this the standard interwiki order? I wouldn't want a situation where a different bot thinks the order should be different and so the bots fight each other re-sorting the links on a given page. Benwing2 (talk) 05:26, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Benwing2, RobokoBot, like the other interwiki bots, uses interwiki.py from Pywikibot, so it should not be any problem with other bots. And yes it monitors new pages. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 11:01, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
- And it seems that it follows the standard interwiki order described at WT:ELE#Interwiki links and meta:MediaWiki:Interwiki config-sorting order-native-languagename. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 11:36, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
- BTW thanks again. It is updating new entries within 10-15 minutes of creation, which is a vast improvement over formerly, where it might be months. Benwing2 (talk) 06:18, 19 June 2016 (UTC)

simplet
[edit]Hello ! @ simplet you added a Noun, but the definition is an adjective ? Leasnam (talk) 22:15, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
- Did you intend for it to be simpleton ? Leasnam (talk) 22:15, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Leasnam: Exactly! Thanks! --Thibaut120094 (talk) 22:16, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
Please check the mg.traslation, because only now I fixed it in its en.meaning... Thank you and best regards, --Glo (talk) 11:17, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
RobokoBot recreated a deleted page
[edit]Hi. A user created an entry for corpuscular theory, which was subsequently deleted by User:SemperBlotto because it was not written like a proper entry. RobokoBot then recreated the deleted entry in order to add interwiki information. That seems like a bug. Is it a race condition? Equinox ◑ 10:07, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Equinox, yes probably, I'll try to fix this. Can you tell me at what time RobokoBot recreated the page? Thanks. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 14:25, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, according to my time zone (British, UTC) the page was created by SameerPakistan366 at 07:15, 21 August. It was deleted by SemperBlotto at 07:17. RobokoBot recreated the page at 07:23. Equinox ◑ 16:43, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- This definitely sounds like a race condition. RobokoBot tends to take about 10 minutes after an entry is created to update it; if it gets deleted in between, RobokoBot will recreate it. It needs to recheck that it still exists when it goes to save the page; this will at least reduce the race window to a second or less. Benwing2 (talk) 16:46, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- Bug filed in phab:T143649 and should be solved with gerrit:306179. Please review. Best Xqt (talk) 11:35, 23 August 2016 (UTC)

RobokoBot (2)
[edit]Hi,
Has your bot stopped running yesterday? --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 07:21, 24 August 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, yes for the new pages I'm waiting for phab:T143649 to be fixed, but I can run my bot on the pages you edited. Cheers. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 10:49, 24 August 2016 (UTC)
- Yhsnk you! No rush at all. :)--Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 11:58, 24 August 2016 (UTC)
Hello. Could I know your pywikibot's parameters that still keep iw redirect like this? [1] My bot failed to do that. --Octahedron80 (talk) 16:09, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm simply using
-wiktionary -namespace:0 -autonomous -async
. Regards. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 16:48, 10 September 2016 (UTC)- And also how to add it back as you did? I tried above parameters but nothing happened. (I tried on another wiki.)--Octahedron80 (talk) 18:37, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
- I'm just using
-usercontribs:OctraBot
. Did you read the documentation? Regards. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 18:42, 10 September 2016 (UTC)- It's not the point. I have read that many times and also in-terminal help. I don't see any option to add the deleted iw back. --Octahedron80 (talk) 18:46, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
- Just run your bot with
-wiktionary
and-autonomous
and it will be fine. Be sure to use the last version of pywikibot (I use the nightly one). --Thibaut120094 (talk) 18:49, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for advice. I already did that but it still result the same. I am confused. I see like this:
(at io.wikt, "Dieu" redirects to "dieu") NOTE: Ignoring io:dieu for th:Dieu in wiktionary mode because both languages are uncapitalized.
And
WARNING: io:Dieu is either deleted or has a mismatching disambiguation state.
So I am unable to add 'io:Dieu' link to 'th:Dieu', for example. Have an idea? --Octahedron80 (talk) 19:09, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think that's because 'dieu' is a common noun and 'Dieu' is a proper noun. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 19:26, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
- If there was a page io:Dieu, the problem would begone. But now io:Dieu is a redirect. I just can't collect it, as shown above. --Octahedron80 (talk) 19:34, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
Interwikis on redirects
[edit]Hi. Interwikis are not added to redirects, such as 下馱, which redirects to 下驮 on the Chinese Wiktionary. Can this be added or is there some limitation?--Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 19:52, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry for the delay, yeah I think there's some technical limitation, pywikibot should be updated to support correctly zh.wiktionary.org (especially entries in Traditional Chinese that redirects to zh.wiktionary.org/zh-hant). I'll try to report it to the pywikibot team, in the meantime they should be added manually. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 15:09, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
Hi,
Entries like 字条 don't get interwikis for some reason. There are, at least three interwiki links possible. Pls see zh:字条 entry.--Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 13:19, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, for some reason Pywikibot thinks the page is empty, I'm going to report this to the dev team. Thank you for your message. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 18:24, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
Interwiki links to redirects
[edit]Hi, it would be nice if your bot added interwiki links even if the target is a redirect. For example, I had to manually add this one, but it would be better if a bot could do this. --WikiTiki89 15:44, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
- Note that unlike Atitarev's request above, I'm talking about ordinary redirects, which are pages with the text
#REDIRECT [[target page]]
or similar. --WikiTiki89 19:00, 6 April 2017 (UTC)This is something to report to the Pywikibot developers. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 11:42, 7 April 2017 (UTC)- Already reported at phab:T111136, hopefully someone will work on this. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 18:39, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
