AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday, accusing it of dumping garbage in Muslim-majority areas throughout Delhi. He further claimed that these areas had seen no development under the AAP government.
Owaisi accused the ruling AAP of staging a "drama" regarding its claims of building schools and hospitals, asserting that the development claims by the party were untrue.
"In the assembly constituencies in Delhi where Muslims live, Delhi's garbage is thrown in those areas. No clinics and schools have been built in Muslim-dominated areas. There is no development in those areas," Owaisi was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
Owaisi stated that there were no significant ideological differences between the BJP and AAP, alleging that both parties were products of the RSS. He stated, "The RSS is the mother of both the BJP and AAP. The RSS gave birth to Jan Sangh, which later evolved into the BJP in 1980. The other party emerged around 2012-13, and it too has its roots in the same institution. It's a lab-grown form of Hindutva," he was quoted as saying by PTI.
"The mother (RSS) created them (BJP and APP). RSS created Jan Sangh and later BJP was formed in 1980. The other (was formed) in 2012-13. There is a big institute. It is lab-grown Hindutva. It (APP) was formed there," Owaisi was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
The AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sending a ceremonial "chadar" to the Ajmer Dargah, accusing the BJP and the Sangh Parivar of undermining the significance of the Dargah.
Owaisi pointed out that members of these groups had previously approached the courts, claiming that the Khwaja Ajmeri Dargah was not a true Dargah. Meanwhile, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju offered the "chadar" sent by PM Modi at the Ajmer Dargah during the "Urs" of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.
