1. OBJETIVO
Presentar las características principales de los Bancos de Baterías de la solución de
energía esencial del proyecto “Carapongo” de acuerdo a la finalidad, función y
necesidades requeridas para satisfacer los requerimientos del cliente y alcance
ofrecido en nuestra oferta.
2. NORMAS Y CÓDIGOS
Los Equipos a suministrar cumplen con las siguientes Normas:
IEC60896‐21/22, EN 60947‐3,
DIN 43539T5 Part 5, DIN 40742, DIN 40744
IEC 62485.
Iso9001.
IEC 60038, IEC Standard Voltages. 2002‐05.
3. CONFLICTO ENTRE NORMAS
Para la solución de cualquier conflicto técnico entre códigos, normas y estas
especificaciones, se deberá proceder en el siguiente orden de precedencia:
a. Esta especificación
b. Estándares y Códigos Internacionales (NEC, PIP, IEC, API, etc.).
Cualquier conflicto entre normas, códigos y especificaciones debe ser sometido al
cliente para su manejo y aprobación, de ser éste el caso.

4. ALCANCE DEL SUMINISTRO.
Descripción
Baterías de baterías de plomo ácido regulada por válvula (VRLA), marca SUNLIGHT, de la
serie OPzV. Acumuladores estacionarios fabricados en Grecia de acuerdo a los más altos
estándares de calidad.
Características Generales.
Cumplimiento de estándares, certificado bajo normativa internacional.
Diseño y fabricación bajo la certificación de normas internacionales: DIN 40742 Y DIN
50272, (OHSAS 18001), para ISO 9001 e ISO 14001.
Diseño Optimizado que presenta:
‐ Robustez de placa positiva: Tecnología placa positiva tubular y negativa plana.
Mayor robustez de la placa positiva por ser la que se degrada más rápidamente
‐ Hasta 3000 Ah de capacidad por celda: No requiere conexión en paralelo de bancos
de baterías para alcanzar altas capacidades de almacenamiento de energía,
ofreciendo la mejor relación capacidad por unidad de volumen.
‐ Excelente vida útil: La aleación de Plomo con calcio y estaño, brinda la rigidez
necesaria a la placa para contrarrestar el desgaste al que son sometidas este tipo de
baterías, por los elevados y repetidos ciclos de carga y descarga. Adicionalmente el
uso de un electrolito gelificado permite mejor disipación de calor, mejorando la vida
útil de la batería.
‐ Bajo mantenimiento: Debido a su robustez, construcción y válvulas de regulación,
esta batería presenta muy bajo mantenimiento.
‐ Flexibilidad: Optimización de espacio, pudiendo alojarse tanto de manera vertical
como horizontal.

‐ Componentes con certificación europea: Todos los componentes con los que
fabrican las celdas son certificados por normativas europeas, lo que se traduce en
mayor resistencia ante abusos mecánicos.
‐ Racks de fabricación local: El diseño y la fabricación de los racks son el resultado de
ingenieros y técnicos especializados, logrando el cumplimiento de los estándares
antisísmicos.
‐ Construcción: Copolímero de acrilonitrilo‐butadieno‐estireno (ABS) se utiliza en las
tapas y recipientes OPzV Sunlight. ABS proporciona una solución robusta y duradera
en el diseño de las celdas

En el anexo #1 del presente documento se muestran los Datos técnicos de las celdas y sus
componentes y del chasis, Dimensiones físicas, Características de los recipientes,
Características de las válvulas, Características de los bornes, Características de las placas y
separadores. (Ver página 3 del anexo)
En los anexos 2 y 3 se muestran Curvas eléctricas de carga y descarga y las curvas térmicas
de carga, descarga y operación normal.
En el Anexo 4 se muestra la Hoja de Datos del Fabricante.
En el Anexo 5 se muestra las características del electrolito, dadas por el fabricante.
En el Anexo 6 aparece las tablas para diferentes voltajes finales a 25 °C
